In the department of R&D Finance we currently have an internship position for a financial analyst (m/f):

In this position, the financial analyst will prepare various analysis on entries in our SAP accounting system in order to be compliant with all reporting requirements for grants from the US Government.
Your responsibilities and duties: - Partnering with the Finance team supporting Global Government Grant Office - Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards necessary to receive funding from the US government. - Execution of a statistical sampling exercise to check on the allowability of our costs submitted to the US government - Documenting and analyzing transactions hitting into our SAP accounting system - Ad Hoc related projects
Successful candidates will need: - Masters/Bachelor education in Economics (should not be completed yet) - Technical aptitude, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills - Fluency in English; other European languages are an asset - To demonstrate talent and drive - Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Practical details - Location: Beerse, Belgium - Duration: Minimum 10 weeks - 3 or 4 days per week - Timeframe: October - December (Start and end date can vary depending on availability of the candidate)
Requirement The candidate must be a registered student for the entire course of the internship. Unfortunately, graduates that are currently not enrolled in a study program are not eligible for this internship.
