Job description Main objective of the job The Market Marketing Manager is responsible for defining marketing plans for products in line with the positioning of brand in the specific country. He/She has full responsibility for defining and implementing a specific approach to the market including the selection and development of a variety of marketing instruments and specific retail actions focused on customer segments. He/She will ensure that all actions that impact the brand image, positioning or presence (sales and marketing, customer support, finance, communication, training, distribution, etc) are aligned with the overall brand strategy.
Duties and responsibilities -Contribution to the strategic marketing positioning; -Development of Market annual marketing plan and Quarterly plan, in collaboration with Sales Manager; -Gap analysis/root causes and action plan development; -Specification/positioning of new products; -Definition of market launch activities strategy and operational plan; -Follow-up of market volumes and share; -Proposition of variable marketing action (programming) based on performance and efficiency; -Forecast Activity; -Conducting of benchmark and competition analysis; -Close collaboration/contact with Central Marketing is necessary particularly for Pricing and Operational Marketing activities; -Definition and coordination with Sales and Demand planning or volume forecast; -Definition of the pricing of new products with Sales organizations in coordination with Product Marketing and Pricing Team; -Communications to dealers and customers; -Sales Support and product launches;
-Master degree -Minimum 5-10 Years of relevant experience in marketing/sales, during which he/she has matured direct experiences in organising events, coordinating press relations, developing marketing and sales campaigns. -Fluent Dutch, French and English -Need to be competent at using software programs such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel -Despite being able to work on a more strategic level, the position requires also a hands-on approach, Creativity and sense for initiatives within the Company guidelines and policies are important -Able to communicate at different levels with his team and his hierarchy -Management ability, able to motivate a small team with precise objectives -Self-driven, eager and positive (`yes, we can¿) , results-oriented with a clear focus on high quality and business profit -Good presentation / Communication Skills (written and oral)
