The Procurement Business Partner holds responsibilities and accountabilities in 8 key areas:
1.Continuity of Supply and Services (Make sure that Site manufacturing operations are not impacted by non-availability of materials or services.)
2.Project Support (Act as Procurement Subject Matter Expert in Global and Site Projects)
3.Cost Control (Assist in the annual standard costing process and provide price forecasts.)
4.Stakeholder Management (Know the site budget relevant for the categories you are responsible for)
5.Supplier Relationship management (Foster supplier partnerships)
6.Procurement Alignment
7.Sourcing
8.Compliance
Within these key areas, as a Procurement Business Partner, you are
- the key contact to translate requirements of GMS business requestor to Procurement activities,
- providing appropriate challenges to demand or specification where relevant.
- You will get support
ofrom the global Procurement team,
othe shared Service TBS
oand your site Senior Procurement Business Partner
- to ensure the correct balance of resources is utilized to deliver projects, and as such be able to deliver best-in-class procurement support to the organization.
- You will monitor progress of requests and provide regular scheduled updates to business requestor.
- You will have direct interaction with the GMS site management teams and multiple other functions at the sites, while always representing Takeda¿ism according to the code of conduct and ethics code.
- This position is responsible for the administration of procurement activities and supplier management for assigned categories, products and services.

- These activities include making and executing decisions to ensure uninterrupted quality product/raw material flow or service delivery, negotiating lowest total cost and optimizing supplier relationships.

- The incumbent will also maintain communications internally and externally to identify and resolve issues, which can impact operating efficiencies.

jouw aanbod

Required:
- Degree level educated.
- Business level English,
- 5+ years Procurement experience with experience in supporting cost reduction projects, value improvement programs, basic contracting, eSourcing and spot buying.
- Demonstrated understanding of some or the entire major spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals.
- The role holder will bring documented international strategic sourcing experience within Direct and Indirect related categories or cost reduction experience, pharmaceutical industry experience.
Preferred:
- Experience or demonstrated understanding in Category Management principles and frameworks.
