You will work in customer facing or production-based environments to develop a detailed understanding of our products, services, projects, customers and culture. You will undertake a single or split assignment in our Chemical, Engineering or Supply Chain business areas. These assignments will provide you with the opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of a role within a key business area or build a broader understanding across multiple roles. Whatever assignment you undertake we will provide a structured program during which you will attend a series of face to face training sessions which will focus on developing your interpersonal and leadership skills. We will combine this with relevant technical training and provide you with a coach, mentor and assignment manager to provide a truly developmental experience. Our Leadership in Practice sessions will provide you with the opportunity to learn from the successes and learning experiences of our European executives and senior business leaders.
First 9 months: The Product Quality Chemist, Jr will assist the EMEA Product Quality Team to execute and deliver on business goals by technical documentation review, conducting laboratory experiments and supporting the digital transformation. In this role, a successful candidate executes and summarizes quality/laboratory assessments, presents his/her work to the team and EMEA plant staff and make recommendations for improvement. The Junior Chemist is responsible for the sample management of the EMEA Product Quality team.
Second 9 months: - Partners with management to ensure the delivery of planned improvement projects within the stated timeline and budget. - Lead or assist on process improvement projects using a hands-on approach - Prioritize and drive performance improvements using standard tools like 5S, problem solving, Lean, Visual performance,...
