Your future job As HR Professional at Melexis, you will be responsible for implementation of our people management programs in line with the global HR concepts, processes and systems, customized to local circumstances at our site in Ypres.

More specifically, you will together with the team will be responsible for:
Talent Acquisition: - Ensure that the right employer branding activities are conducted and implemented in line with Melexis strategy. - Ensure the execution of workforce planning attracting the right people efficiently through applying state of the art recruitment practices.
Talent Engagement: - Ensure that Melexis people management concepts, processes and practices are given primary attention through working with the local Team Lead Community and internal communication programs. - Propose annual local remuneration review plan, attain approval, coordinate and implement the review process - Coordinate the implemantation of the company global mobility program - Ensure that the payroll activities and all other administrative requirementens related to employement are processed on time and that all local legal requirements are observed towards the employees and the authorities. - Actively drive the cooperation with and activities of different committees onsite e.g. local management committee. - As a poart of the Local Management Committee (LMC), you have an active role in optimizing operational excellence of all site and HR related topics and maximizing responsiveness to the business expectations with high emphasis on people management. - you establish budgets for the HR division and monitor expenditures.
Talent Development: - Ensure that the business competencies are adequately developed onsite through actively supporting the role out of the corporate development initiatives. - Support line management in the high potential identification process and monitor development progress.
Talent information: - Contribute to and coordinate global automation projects including complying with local legislation requirements. - Ensure correct local use of technology within the frame of automated processes.
Masters degree in Human Resources / Legal / Economics or equivalent Knowledge of Belgian social legislation 5-8 years experience in a progressive people management environment, at least 2 of these years in a HR generalist function Excellent communication skills Role model in demonstrating company values as well as compliance of highest ethical business standards Able to work with Talent Management integrated systems and MS Office Skilled in project management techniques Fluent in English
