Duty Manager (Cargo Air freight)

12-8-2020 liege airport : bierset
description de la société

Located at Liege Airport (LGG) since 1996, LACHS specialises in cargo handling, from the simplest to the most complex, at a "flexport" rhythm (365 days a year).

With its 380 employees working in modern warehouses, Lachs handles not only perishable products but also cargo such as pharmaceuticals under controlled temperature, live animals, "oversized" cargo (in size or weight) and dangerous products.

The Cargo Warehouse (Warehouse) is at the loading docks for road and air freight. These follow different stages: unloading, control of transport packing papers, packing, customs formalities...

All along its passage in the warehouse, each package will be traced and if necessary repackaged for its future means of transport (airplane / truck).

The goods transported are unique (live animals, transport of dangerous goods, oversized, pharmaceutical) and require specific handling actions regarding quality, safety, security, customs formalities...
