The position is a challenging position for someone looking for a varied job within the domain of Business / Service Management software and mainly related to IT Service Management projects supporting ITIL processes but which might also be related to other functional domains such as ERP and CRM.
After following an in-depth training plan, you will be part of the project team which are responsible for the implementation of the state - of - the - art software platform Omnitracker which automates business processes and integrates with other 3rd party tools (e.g. via Web Services).
You carry out projects with a limited scope completely independently. For more complex and larger projects you work closely with a team of specialized Omnitracker consultants. This implementation of the solution will include a mixture of analysis, software configuration, customizing, development (scripting), interfacing, testing, process design and project follow up. So the perfect match for someone who wants to have a wide variety of tasks.
You will assist to identify, analyse, document and implement Functional & Technical requirements related to the setup and configuration of the state - of - the - art Omnitracker solution.
You ensure correct follow-up and configuration of the Omnitracker solution which may include configuration and/or parametrisation, scripting, testing & documentation.
You take care of the delivery and the effective training of the solution.
A large part of this implementation is based on parameterization, but you will regularly require
Scripting (based on Vbscripting)
Setup Interfacing based on Web Services (Rest / SOAP)
Relational database knowledge is mandatory.
Omnitracker is one of the most flexible systems worldwide in its segment and has besides a workflow engine also a BPM engine. BPMN 2.0 knowledge might be an advantage.
This job is mainly (>70%) performed at customer premises within the Belgian territory. Short term assignments within the Netherlands or Germany may happen from time to time.
Experience and required knowledge:
Most important is your dedication to perform an excellent job delivering high quality. You are customer oriented and eager to learn.
You have minimum between 1 to 3 years of working experience in a similar job at a similar level.
You have good understanding of the concept and details of relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server or Oracle);
Experience with other Service Management tools is an advantage: like ServiceNow, Cherwell, Ivanti, ... ;
You have experience in implementation and/or adaptations of software/applications. You understand the nature and architecture of software tools;
Knowledge of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and experience with Service Desks is mandatory;
You have good technical skills (or background) and are interested in technology;
You have good knowledge of Web Technologies such as Rest / SOAP, XSLT, HTML;
Knowledge of IT infrastructure is an advantage: like MS Windows Server platform, Active - Directory, MS IIS, SMTP, ODBC, LDAP, XML, Crystal Reports,...
You are a quick learner, common sense and have a minimum understanding of processes (workflows). Knowledge of BPM with BPMN 2.0 notation is an advantage;
You can work independently by having attention for details and are precise (what you do does not require reviews and you understand the need for structured documentation of your own work);
You are customer oriented & communicative. You can put yourself in the position of the customer (empathic);
You are a service oriented thinker;
You can think conceptual;
You have a high drive, much energy, self-motivated;
You are a communicative team player;
You speak Dutch, French and English;
You are willing to travel within Benelux for short periods (average project is 50 man days, done by more than one person).
