Job description: Responsible for driving the reliability performance & improvement of manufacturing equipment Specifically: - Develop a long-term vision and plan for manufacturing equipment reliability performance improvement - Drive an integrated risk management approach for EHSS, Quality and technical reliability in a cost-effective way - Develop maintenance strategy standards across the equipment lifecycle - Monitor and analyse the reliability performance, and drive root cause elimination & improvements
Responsibilities and duties: - Support the roll out of condition based maintenance techniques for API SM production equipment - Develop and define the right condition based maintenance techniques depending on the failure modes - Use data to optimize maintenance strategies - Define the business case for rolling out these new maintenance strategies - Define the next steps for using innovative condition based and predictive maintenance techniques (for example wireless sensors, statistical models,...) for the enitre API SM production equipment in collaboration with internal SME's
Qualifications: - You are in the process of obtaining a Master or Bachelor's degree or equal to experience and have a strong interest in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering & Supply Chain. Preferred fields of study are Engineering or Science

Practical details: - Location: Geel Belgium - Duration: minimum 2 months - Timeframe: to be agreed upon - Allowance: We provide an allowance of € 20 per working day, to cover for your daily expenses.
Requirement: The candidate must be a registered student for the entire course of the internship. Unfortunately, graduates that are currently not enrolled in a study program are not eligible for this internship.
