The Janssen Lab Systems department provides systems and solutions for the J&J laboratories to test products in a reliable and compliant matter. We provide lab systems and tools for analysts and scientist to understand and proactively analyse our quality release data.
In the department of Janssen Quality & Lab Systems we currently have an internship position for one or more Data Scientists (m/f):
We are building up capabilities around data analytics and disruptive technologies and want to explore how we can better understand the quality profile of our products and improve our internal processes based on data driven decision and prevention.
Responsibilities and duties We need support for an important project on cycle time reduction for a number of strategic J&J products through: - Data driven root cause analysis to accelerate and improve product investigations - Pro-active risk assessment of failure rates based on historical data with the goal to reduce risk of failure
Qualifications - Student should have skills in common statistical tools (R, minitab, ...) - Experience in visualization tools (tableau, spotfire,¿ - Knowledge of programming languages for scientific computing (R, python,...) ,is an asset, not a must - Knowledgeable in design of experiment analysis is an asset, not a must - Know-how in data engineering and/or machine learning is an asset, not a must
