* To prepare microbiological growth media and other laboratory solutions to support microbiology laboratory testing
* To do the preparation, follow up and adaptation of the parameters of fermentation processes
* To perform analytical and microbiological analysis on the fermentation samples
* To use molecular biotechnological tools
* Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities
* Be involved in research projects to bring expertise in the domain
* Data collection, interpretation, reporting and presentation of results
* Demonstrate a consistently high level of quality of work
* Utilize problem solving/trouble shooting skills

your contribution

* Bachelor in Microbiology, Biology, Life Science or a related discipline
* Good knowledge of fermentation and microbiology
* Affinity with bakery, patisserie and chocolate
* Ability to follow research protocols with attention to details
* Strong organization and record keeping capability
* Self-starter with the capacity to be proactive
* Result driven with a positive mindset
* Curiosity, creativity and open-mindedness
* Strong team spirit to work in cross-functional teams
* Consensus building capabilities
* Strong work ethic
* Fluent in written and spoken English
