The Supplier Defect Engineer is responsible for the qualitative processing of the defect reports towards supplier within agreed time frame. Review defect reports towards supplier in accordance to the BARCO golden rules. nter clear and correct data into the SAP system related to rejected material Communicate these defect reports towards supplier and come to a mutual agreement on these concerns, in relation to responsibility, cost, RMA Chase RMA at suppliers, create outbound orders in SAP system and further follow up of logistic flow of rejected material Decide upon format of feedback of supplier (e.g. 8D) Ensure that all defect reports are processed in time Administrative support for the worldwide SQA members (upload documents, provide information,...) Be liaison between SQA Engineers and the production team Participate in Red Alert meetings as back up to the SQA engineer and coordinate first containment actions towards suppliers. Provide input for Technical Support Engineer to create or update work instructions based on occurred defects. Take initiative to prevent further spread of bad quality goods in the company (stock checks, ¿) Take appropriate actions within the Barco organisation when Barco specs are unclear (contact with R&D; initiate i-track)
