An in-house role at the spearhead of technical support with a company, global leader in Medical Technology.
As a European Technical Support Center Specialist you'll join a dynamic team responsible for a high quality level of technical support and representation for the company's products in the field of Molecular Diagnostics, Cervical Cancer detection and Microbiology. You will be the point of contact for the customers in case of technical, software and product support requests. If a solution can't be found or a complaint can't be solved remotely, you will route the problem to the regional field based organization.
The role also involves: - Interacting directly with the regional Dispatchers, Field service Engineers, Application Specialists, Sales Representatives or Distributors, to ensure detailed information on the customer's interaction is available for quick and efficient problem management. - Using remote diagnostic tools, to remedy problems and perform root cause analysis. - Tracking, recording and documenting all technical enquiries from customers and prospective customers into the company's systems.
Educated to BA/MA level in a relevant faculty, you definitely have an experience of working in a hospital or laboratory environment as a Field Service Engineer, Biomedical Engineer or Remote System Engineer. Ideally, you have been using remote support tools, such as VPN and remote desktop. Having a background in Biology, Life Sciences or Microbiology would be a strong asset. You'll also bring: - Fluent in Dutch, German and English OR fluent in French, Spanish and English. Notions of an additional European Language is a strong plus. - Basic knowledge on Computer networking, Windows OS, Unix or Linux and TCP/IP - Eagerness to stay up to date in technical knowledge - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
