Our client is listed on the NYSE and a global leader in industrial capital goods. They develop, produce and sell agricultural machines. Currently, they are looking for a product configuration analyst.

The Product Configuration Analyst is the product offering structure and systems expert (PRP, SharePoint, EC) who advises and supports the assigned Platform throughout the global product development (GPD) process through production.

-Manage all aspects of the release process for product offerings and top level BOMs including PRP for assigned products.
-Collaborate with Commercial and assigned Platform(s) to define optimal standardized product offerings keeping in mind the Dealer as the end customer.
-Create and maintain product offering documentation for all assigned products.
-Drive and support common processes, issue resolution and training of other configuration analysts at supported sites.
-Clearly and effectively communicate all product offering changes with all related functions (Marketing, Pricing, Plant, etc.) to ensure timely implementation of all changes.
-Interact with Engineering regarding the maintenance of the product structures in Engineering Central to ensure both systems remain in sync at all times.
-Be continually aware of and involved with any system enhancements, new training opportunities, user issues, processes, etc.

-Associates degree in a technical discipline.
-Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
-Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in new global processes and systems.
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
-Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) issues, problems, and observations of work being performed.
-Demonstrated ability to work with cross discipline teams as well as being a strong individual contributor.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision managing multiple projects and tasks
