To strengthen their EMEA team in Aalst, they are looking for a dynamic Logistics Engineer.

Do you want to work as a logistics specialist in a high tech environment at a worldwide market leading and trendsetting company? Tupperware is waiting for you!

As Logistics Engineer, based in Aalst, you work in close cooperation with the project manager for all new projects arising in the warehouse and distribution landscape in EMEA (Tupperware Europe, Middle East and Africa). These projects may take place in any country reporting to the area and will all be in the area logistics (warehousing, distribution and transport). So in this function travelling to other departments is possible.
You will develop and implement “best in class practices” that strongly support some of the key operational excellence pillars: customer service, cost and safety, quality and innovation.
You report to the Director Warehouse and Logistics EMEA.

Examples of projects are:

  • Reduction of lead time to markets (European countries). For this a study has to be made for the three components: pick and pack, cost and chain of transportation (directly to costumer or via platforms).
  • Reduction of admin work in logistic processes. For this a good understanding of warehouse processes and a good understanding of the ERP (JDE/SAP like systems) is required.

In collaborations with the different local teams you will be able to implement these logistic projects end to end.

your contribution

  • You have a master or bachelor in business/commercial/logistics engineering with some years of experience in project management in any kind of logistics projects (warehousing, distribution, transport).
  • So you should have a logistic background and good knowledge of logistic processes.
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or any other language can be interesting.
  • Furthermore you have excellent communication skills, can coop with different tasks and are able to make the necessary priorities.
  • You are hands-on and service minded, can work independent and are flexible.
