As an Transport Planner you play an active role in fulfilling the E-DC quality policy. The European Distribution Center will consistently satisfy customer needs by delivering the right product, in good condition, on time, with the right documentation at the optimum cost. This will be achieved through customer-focused continuous improvement and compliance embedded in processes & practices.

You will report to the Transport & Warehouse Planning Manager.


Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely planning of all incoming orders according to existing service level agreements.
- Plan transport in the most optimized way (Cost, Service).
- Ensure strict follow-up of operational process, taking into account priority setting on transport availability.
- Ensure continuous follow-up of performance status EDC Outbound on transport management (freight savings).
- Balance outbound workload to a maximum extent.


- Interact with customer services on order status and transportation planning related problems.
- Discussing service improvements and coordinate the implementation of special SLA's.
- Prepare special planning- & departure schedules (holiday's, quarterly closings).

your contribution

- You have a bachelor's and/or experience in Supply Chain.
- You have awareness and/or knowledge of Quality Management Systems (especially ISO9001 and ISO13485) and Documentation requirements.
- You are assertive, analytical, and flexible.
- You have good communication skills.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office, and if you have knowledge of LOTS (BDBEN4), it is a plus.
- You are keen to learn about the responsibilities and challenges of the different internal stakeholders (operations/yard gate/transport admin) and you are motivated!
- You are open to work from: 10am till 6:30pm
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
