At our unit near Bruges, our more than 250 engineers and colleagues work on the development, testing, prototyping and production of high-technology transmission systems and subsystems for high-performance, top-of-the-line vehicles.
I'm looking for a mastermind in planning, who keeps the wheels turning in different automotive production lines and can communicate fluent with internal and external parties.
As Master Planner, you are part of our Program Management Office, you develop and manage the Master Planning Schedule in collaboration with our Project Managers.
You evaluate, review and update timelines for work packages. You support program-, project-, and sub-system project managers and their cross-functional teams on timing / planning issues regarding development, industrialization, procurement, manufacturing and product launches. As Master Planner you identify “critical path” items and work in collaboration with various project teams to mitigate timing risks and ensure successful project completions. In case of demand or project changes, you assess implications, update project plan and communicate updated master schedule internally and externally in client reviews. You proactively review capability and demand to determine actions appropriate to avoid planning discrepancies.
Our ideal Master Planner drives, promotes and develops positive communication with other departments to ensure alignment on overall project timing. You prepare reports required to facilitate and suggest actions to assure an optimal development, production and launch process. You identify and implement system and process improvements within the project management office.
- University degree in economics, business management or engineering - 2+ years of relevant job experience in product development process in high-tech industry - Automotive experience is a strong preference - Strong analytical & communication skills - Working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and/or MS Project - Result-oriented attitude, pro-active, problem solving with attention to precision and thoroughness and ability to focus on multiple objectives and priorities - Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
