The one of the selected candidates priorities will be, crunching purchase and sales data and establish a link between the raw materials purchased and the finished products sold. In addition, this person should be able to create a tool/dashboard that can show our margin evolution based on the market fluctuations.

A second priority would be to do Chemical Market Analysis for our product line and maintain and optimize the current Market Trend Tracker, distributed on a Monthly basis. With the achieve knowledge, a global database on global responsibilities needs to be maintained and improved.

A successful candidate will be part of a global sourcing team, supporting the global sourcing leader for chemicals and monitoring solutions. The person should be able to work independently and should have the ability to analyze complicated data in order to come to a simple dashboard. A close cooperation with other functions within the organization and with external partners if required for the tasks will be key for success. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the synergies project that will be initiated in view of the creation of the new company.

The selected candidate develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. Is responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role will drive the short-term and long-term business goals.

Key responsibilities:
- Collect information from different product line leaders to understand the product lines
- Collect and crunch chemical data
- Create a dashboard for margin evolution
- Maintain and improve a monthly Trend Tracker
- Drive initiatives proactively to meet objectives
- Perform continual market analysis
- Get familiar with sourcing procedures
- Support the European sourcing team with Data Maintenance in SAP.
- Collect the BU needs and information to support the definition of the group strategies

your contribution

- Min, Chemical Bachelors degree from an accredited university
- 2 years proven experience as a chemical data analyst
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Candidate must be able to work independently and must be resilient to pressure from operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Smartsheet, Tableau and SAP is an added value
- Very good understanding of English
- Knowledge of any other language is an additional benefit
- Accountable, self-starter and proactive
- Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and a diplomatic attitude
