As Business Unit Manager you are responsible for the B2B sales strategy for our export countries. Together with the management, you further develop our export strategy.

You are ultimately responsible for the results and the organization of the activities of the Business Unit. On top of that, together with your colleague(s) export manager(s), you are responsible for the commercial follow-up of current customers and the proactive search for new customers.

In the beginning your focus will be Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Southeast Asia, Arabic countries.

Your responsibilities:

-You prepare a yearly business plan in consultation with the management and define the sales budgets for each of our export countries.
-You are responsible for the realization of the strategic and commercial objectives.
-You analyze the sales results and make adjustments where necessary.
-You anticipate market evolutions and trends, you see the possibilities to improve and develop and incorporate this in your business plan.
-Besides hunting, you will also be a farmer and build and maintain longue, internationals relations.
-You are responsible for the follow-up of agreements, the price setting for the different countries, prepare quotations, ¿.
-You make sure the local and international law is being followed
-You help to improve/optimize the export related internal processes
-You guide, coach and support your colleagues in your Business Unit
-You represent on multiple international fairs.
-In this international position you are willing to travel regularly inside and outside of Europe. When there are no foreign business trips planned, you will work from our offices in Ghislenghien.

You have a bachelor degree or equal by experience.
You have experience in an export / international position.
You are strategically strong.
You have an entrepreneurial mentality, you discover opportunities in the market and act on it.
You can work independent and are a problem solver.
You are a sales talent: customer minded, negotiation- and presentation skills.
You have well developed communication skills.
You are familiar with different cultures.
You are a people manager, you show example behavior and stimulate the development and growth of your colleagues.
You are flexible and prepared to travel abroad on a regularly basis.
