Herman Nijns, CEO of Randstad Belgium & Luxembourg, has been elected as the new European president of World Employment Confederation, the voice of the private employment sector at the European level that represents both national federations and HR service providers from across Europe.
Herman Nijns started his career in 1988 at Interlabor Interim, part of Randstad, and has worked through all management levels within the organisation. He is a board member in several sector associations in Belgium and was president of Federgon, the Belgian federation of private employment agencies and HR service providers, from 2017 to 2020.
I am immensely proud to be at the helm of the World Employment Confederation-Europe for the next three years.
"Our sector is uniquely placed to help European policy-makers, employers and employees understand the huge changes taking place in labour markets. It is my goal to strengthen the image of the World Employment Confederation-Europe through evidence-based thought leadership and a broader representation of the full spectrum of recruitment and employment services."
