Herman Nijns, currently CEO of Randstad Group Belgium & Luxembourg, will become Chief Executive for South Europe and Latin-America as from 1 March, and will therefore have responsibility for Andorra, Argentina, Brazil, Chili, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Uruguay. Under his direction, Randstad Group has become market leader in Belgium in the three large HR-service concepts: temping, recruitment and selection, and outplacement.
Herman Nijns launched his career in 1988 at Interlabor Interim, part of Randstad, and has worked his way through all management levels within the organisation. He joined the management team in Belgium in 1990 and has been head of Randstad Group BeLux since 2005. In 2021, he took on the additional responsibility for Randstad in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. He is also the European president of the World Employment Confederation, as the voice of the private employment sector at the European level that represents both national federations and HR service providers from across Europe.
I am very grateful that I can still learn new things and take on wider responsibilities within the company where I started as a consultant almost 35 years ago. It is an honour to be involved in realising the strategy of our organisation in South Europe and Latin-America, and in expanding our offer, reinforcing our corporate culture and therefore also supporting the continued expansion and growth of Randstad in those regions.
Herman Nijns’ successor as CEO at Randstad Group BeLux will be announced in the coming weeks.
