Our client is an international holding, active in FMCG. This holding has several brands through which they approach the market, both online and in shops. Having more then 6000 stores worldwide and employing more then 350000 people could call it a big company.

In Brussels, their IT company is located. IT Company? Yes! Naming it a department would be a dishonour. The IT company provides support to entities in Belgium and some CSE countries and executes IT projects for one or more countries, or sometimes even with a worldwide scope. Within the IT company, there is a team of financial analists. At this moment only one, the other one internally moved to another job.

Do you have an analytical mind and do you love acting as a business partner for colleagues? An international environment sounds attracting to you? And a strong link with IT colleagues triggers you?

As a financial analyst you provide the executive committees of the countries involved with accurate and meaningful insights into financial performances of the IT business. You provide support to the IT Management Team through financial analysis, advices for business cases and identification of risks and opportunities.

You consolidate the budgets of the different entities into one European budget and you work in close collaboration with local IT controllers. For centralized IT projects, you are the owner of the budget and forecast process, in collaboration with the IT management team and the PMO department. You challenge budget or project owners to reach financial objectives. You analyze deviations and you present relevant conclusions to the IT management team.

You are responsible for the performance tracking process where you perform a monthly closing process and you report on recharges, costs and synergies.

You are responsible for a correct IT recharges model. You communicate with local IT controllers on recharges, and provide them with detailed information.

This positions requires 20% travelling in CSE countries.

1 - you are experienced with budgeting and analyzing results and deviations
2 - you are used to work in a project oriented environment (IT projects is a strong plus)
3 - you speak English and fluent Dutch or French
4 - you can show us your realizations in previous jobs (implementations, improvements..)
