key responsibilities
What will you do as a Technical Operator?
As a key figure on the shop floor, you are responsible for the entire production process:
- Machine Management: You set up, operate, and change over machines (cutting, shaping, wire drawing, and assembly) for product changeovers.
- Quality Master: You accurately check product quality using measuring tools (caliper, micrometer) and ensure that technical specifications (length, tensile strength, etc.) are perfect.
- Problem Solver: You signal and analyze technical malfunctions and carry out the first, quick interventions to maximize machine availability.
- Efficiency: You record production data and actively contribute ideas for process optimization, safety, and quality improvement.
- Collaboration: You work closely with colleagues from maintenance, quality, and planning in a dynamic, international environment (English is the working language!).
qualification
What do we expect from you?
- Education: You preferably have a diploma in Technical Secondary Education (Mechanics, Electromechanics) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: You have experience in a technical or production environment and basic knowledge of machine maintenance. Experience with metal processing is a strong asset!
- Language Skills: You speak fluent English. This is essential for all communication on the shop floor.
- Basic Knowledge: Knowledge of measuring tools (caliper, micrometer) is a must.
- Safety: You are highly safety-conscious.
