• Budgeting and Forecasting: You will prepare annual and multi-year budgets for personnel costs, including salaries, bonuses, social contributions, and training expenses. You will also create regular forecasts to identify deviations in a timely manner.
• Reporting and Analysis: You will prepare periodic management reports on personnel costs and staffing levels. You will conduct in-depth analyses of wage costs, overtime, and the financial impact of new HR initiatives.
• Business Partnering: You will act as a business partner for the HR and management teams, advising them on the financial feasibility of personnel plans based on your analyses.
• Process Improvement: You will identify and implement improvements in the budgeting and reporting processes, specifically for HR data.
• Control and Compliance: You will monitor adherence to budgets and internal financial guidelines related to personnel costs.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Financial Controller or Business Controller.
• Proven experience in setting up and managing personnel budgets and labour costs.
• Strong analytical skills and a precise, data-driven mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience with BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) and ERP systems (such as SAP or AFAS) is a plus.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly convey complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• You are proactive, independent, and have a critical, advisory attitude.
