-You will create the necessary purchase orders for materials and services and ensure best value and supply terms.
-Working alongside other Buyers within a large purchasing team, you will create the necessary purchase orders across a variety of indirect spend categories, liaising with local site representatives and suppliers to deliver sustainable cost savings through a combination of tactical and hands on procurement within a technical and commercial environment.
-You will provide support to the site and local suppliers in the site's local language.
Additionally, as the Buyer, you will:
-Create purchase orders for materials and services in accordance with agreed purchasing processes and in compliance with corporate contracts and other relevant regulatory and company standards
-Maintain strong relationships with the internal stakeholders and apply purchasing solutions that meets business and commercial requirements
-Perform routine sourcing tactics like price enquiries, quotation analyses and negotiate best terms and conditions with suppliers

your contribution

-Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
-Strong communication skills and commercial understanding
-Fluency in German and English is required, good knowledge of other European languages is considered to be an asset
-Result oriented attitude
-Ideally have experience in purchasing, sales, customer service or communications
-Strong IT skills
