Research & Analysis

• Define the project scope, ask the right questions, and clarify objectives and user groups.

• Conduct in-depth user research: usability testing, interviews, data analysis, benchmarking, experience mapping, and personas.

• Perform ergonomic audits and recommend improvements based on insights.

Concept & Design

• Organize and lead ideation workshops to co-create effective and user-friendly journeys with cross-functional teams.

• Translate ideas into wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, and contribute to the design system.

• Prepare and support user testing to gather insights before the development phase.

• Work in a continuous, iterative improvement process.

Promoting UX Culture

• Foster collaboration and co-creation with business teams.

• Actively promote the Design Thinking mindset throughout the organization.

• Guide stakeholders with patience, persuasion, and expertise.

Sample projects you will work on

• Creating prototypes for the customer zone (Web & App)

• Reviewing and improving website navigation

• Optimizing the UX of specific web sections

• Improving digital tools for business partners and large clients

Soft skills

• Empathetic, communicative, and open-minded

• Able to reflect critically on your own work

• Hands-on and solution-oriented

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of Figma and Adobe XD

• UI design experience is a nice plus (approximately 10% of the role)

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS or web development is an asset

• Understanding of web standards, performance, and accessibility

• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Miro is a bonus

Language skills

• A good command of English is required; Dutch or French is a plus

• Work location: Mainly Brussels, hybrid working is possible

• Assignment duration: Approx. 12 months (depending on department evolution)

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Contract type: Freelance or via payroll with Randstad Professionals
