key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on vans and trucks.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide solutions for both mechanical and electronic systems.
- Prepare vehicles for inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct urgent repairs or vehicle testing on location when needed.
- Document work performed and report to the workshop manager.
- Manage the ordering of necessary parts independently.
qualification
- Education: Preferably an A2 diploma in Mechanics or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Relevant experience in vehicle mechanics; candidates with too little or overly specific experience (e.g., only bodywork mechanics) may not be suitable.
- Strong diagnostic skills (using a diagnostic computer).
- Initiative and the ability to work independently
- Understanding of both Dutch and English (Dutch preferred).
- License: Valid Category B driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle.
- Additional Skills: Welding knowledge is advantageous but not required.
