Financial data entry and bookkeeping:
Assist in the maintenance of financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations, using accounting software and spreadsheets.
Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Accounts payable and receivable:
Assist in accounts payable functions, including verifying and processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and issuing payments.
Support accounts receivable functions, including invoicing clients, monitoring receivables, and following up on outstanding payments.
Financial reporting and analysis:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Perform variance analysis, budget tracking, and financial forecasting to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Compliance and audit support:
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including Belgian GAAP and applicable tax laws.
Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
Administrative support:
Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as assigned by management.
