As a Senior Scientist, you will join the Advanced Materials Characterization and Investigations (AMCI) group within Analytical Development. This international and diverse team performs advanced analytical characterization of pharmaceutical products and leads global analytical investigations for their commercial portfolio. You'll be part of a sub-team focused on particle identification and investigations.
In this laboratory-based role, you will be responsible for identifying unknown particles and materials using a wide range of imaging and spectroscopic techniques, including optical microscopy, SEM-EDX, IR microscopy, Raman microscopy, and XCT. Your work will be crucial for root cause analyses related to investigations involving drug products, substances, excipients, packaging materials, and combination products. You'll work in a multidisciplinary team, applying state-of-the-art scientific knowledge to ensure high-quality results while adhering to regulatory, GMP, and safety standards. Staying current with scientific literature is also a key responsibility.
