For a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the south of Antwerp, we are looking for a Production Planner.

key responsibilities
- Responsible for the production planning (manufacturing or packaging) of an assigned portfolio of products (brand and/or production/packaging line).
- Responsible for Supply Assurance and Supply Chain performance of assigned portfolio of products (brand and/or production/packaging line).
- Represent plant planning team in global and regional forums (for assigned product portfolio).
- Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life and expiry dates minimizing write-offs whilst improving processes to avoid obsolescence.
- Plan and implement launches and major product changes enabling business unit growth.
- Perform root cause analysis of inventory deviations vs. targets and of inventory drivers and define improvement plans.
- Serve as point of contact to several supply chain stakeholders in and out the site for any questions related to supply issues, resolution plans, inventory for assigned set of products.
- Understand and analyse forecasts and develop production volume budgets.
- Align forecast and planning to production capacity.
- Contribute to the completion of projects and manage your own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects.
qualification
- 3+ years’ Experience and working knowledge of ERP systems (eg SAP, Kynaxis, …)
- Knowledge of production and capacity planning
- Ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determining root cause of issues and drawing proper conclusions from analysis
- Develop effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and quick grasp and understanding of complex situations involving many moving parts
- Fluent both written and verbally in Dutch and English
