operator 2 shifts

As a Machine Operator in the production department, you will have a challenging and active range of duties:

• Operating & setting up machines: You start up the production lines, convert them when necessary, and set the correct parameters on the machines. This requires logical thinking.
• Line replenishment: You ensure that the correct raw materials and packaging materials are ready at the line in a timely manner.
• Filling & packaging: You monitor and manage the daily filling and packaging process of the avocado products.
• Quality control: You perform meticulous quality checks to deliver a perfect end product every single day.
• Hygiene & order: You work according to the strict hygiene regulations of the food industry and keep your work environment clean.

You are physically fit and have a real hands-on mentality. Working in a chilled production environment is not a problem for you. Furthermore, you match the following profile:

• Experience: You have initial experience in a production environment, preferably operating machinery.
• Skills: You have good logical thinking skills, are able to read and write instructions fluently, and have experience (or a strong interest) in setting machine parameters.
• Languages: The main language on the work floor is English (a good command of English or Dutch is required).
• Physical & environment: You are willing to perform physical work and work in a cold environment (typical for fresh food production).
• Flexibility: You are able to work in a 2-shift system (early shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM and late shift: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
