key responsibilities
- Solve technical problems quickly and effectively
- Carry out planned and urgent repairs
- Replace or repair defective mechanical parts, such as gears and bearings, and adjust them accurately
- Resolve electrical faults by locating defects and replacing parts
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and tightening parts
- Actively look for opportunities for technical improvements, from concept to realisation.
- Contribute to the implementation of large-scale technical investment projects and the accurate maintenance of technical documentation in the system.
qualification
- You have a very good knowledge of electricity and mechanics, supplemented with a basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics.
- You speak Dutch well, you can read technical plans and you understand manuals in English.
- You can work independently and are stress-resistant.
- You are motivated and eager to learn.
- You are open to training/guidance on matters that you have not yet mastered.
- Working in the food industry implies that you always pay special attention to order, cleanliness, safety and hygiene.
- A forklift and/or aerial work platform certificate is a plus
