junior process development specialist

Tasks:

Innovation & Process Development

• Support technology innovation projects from definition to industrial implementation.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at CO₂ reduction, debottlenecking, capacity increase, and capex optimization.
• Conduct lab-scale feasibility tests for brewhouse projects and report findings to stakeholders.
• Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing pilot brewery trials.

Standardization & Knowledge Building

• Support global standardization of brewing analytical methods (e.g., malt equivalence, RDF, extract analysis).
• Help identify and support opportunities for patent filings and IP protection.
• Actively build and share brewing process knowledge through presentations, documentation, and best practices. 

• Assist in tracking and organizing global brewing projects across multiple zones.

• Represent the team in meetings when needed and support routine project activities.
• Participate in supplier trials and summarize key outcomes.
• Communicate project updates clearly to stakeholders across functions and geographies

Must-Haves

University degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field.

1–2 years of hands-on experience or internships in beer or food production.

Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.

Team-oriented with good communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and departments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with data/statistics tools is a plus.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.

Eager to learn and open to feedback.

Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Willing to travel internationally as required.

Nice-to-haves

Additional brewing or business-related training.

Basic understanding of intellectual property
