As a Financial Reporting Officer, you will be part of the Financial Analysis & Planning (FA&P) team, responsible for analyzing and reporting the consolidated financial performance of a banking sub-group. The team currently consists of three professionals and a team lead.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor, interpret, and comment on key financial metrics such as profitability, solvency, balance sheet, and liquidity
- Contribute to forward-looking exercises including budgets, multi-year plans, stress tests, and simulations
- Produce quarterly analytical reports, comparing current performance with historical data and budget projections
- Build strong relationships with business entities to gather insights and contextual information
- Participate in the annual impairment testing of goodwill and equity-method entities
- Support the review and validation of sub-consolidation controls and group deliverables
