We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for our client in Geel:

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide controlling support to their local Business Units, including preparation of budgets and forecasts (Budget / F1 / F2 / Quarterly Landings / Rolling Forecast), monthly closings (activity & expense reviews, scorecards), project approval and tracking, and other financial planning & analysis activities on a timely basis.
Tasks:
Responsible for operational controlling activities and/or industrial costing and/or operating/capital expenses
Partner closely with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) across GBUs to provide cohesive support to Business Leaders
Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing, sharing results with FBPs and Budget Owners
Prepare monthly commentary explaining variances between actual results and forecasts
Develop Opex and headcount forecasts in collaboration with FBPs and Budget Owners
Oversee project opening/closing, timely capitalization, and compliance with asset management procedures
Monitor Standard Cost and manufacturing performance
Identify risks and opportunities affecting forecasts
Track headcount and compare to budgeted and forecasted vacancy rates
Approve project spend, ensuring proper budgeting and challenging when necessary
Drive efficiencies, challenge legacy ways of working, and promote best practices
Educate client groups on financial policies and processes to ensure compliance
Support key Finance initiatives and conduct ad hoc projects and analyses
Education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Pharmaceutical accounting experience is preferred
Languages:
Dutch and English
Technical skills:
Advanced Excel proficiency with pivot tables, V-look ups, macros, etc.
Experience modeling ethical behavior in challenging situations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical capabilities with strategic thinking
Technology savvy with agile learning abilities
Familiarity with TM1 and SAP is preferred
Soft skills:

Maintain high attention to detail and operate effectively under pressure and strict deadlines
