The successful candidate’s mission will focus on data quality resolution, system functionality improvement, and the implementation of business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Requirements Management: Identifying and documenting local business requirements to ensure correct and efficient implementation within the client's Finance systems and downstream applications. This requires drafting clear and complete business requirements and specifications.

• System Development & Projects: Leading local Finance evolution projects and actively contributing to Group-wide initiatives related to Finance Systems, covering Regulatory Reporting (financial, management accounting, liquidity, solvency, ALM, credit risk).

• Data Analysis & Issue Resolution: Analysing analytical accounting data within the central Analytical Accounting System ('System A') and the management accounting tool ('System B'). You will be responsible for identifying the root cause of data quality or functional issues across the entire system landscape (from operating systems to reporting tools).

• Solution Design: Proposing and contributing to the definition of robust short-term and long-term solutions for identified issues and new requirements. Documenting all solutions and processes thoroughly.

• Stakeholder & Interface Management: Serving as the primary interface between local end-users (Accounting & Reporting Teams, Management Control, ALM, Credit Risk, Permanent Control) and the technical project teams. Ensuring proactive and clear communication to key stakeholders, including Finance management.

• Quality Assurance & Support: Preparing, coordinating, and executing rigorous testing (e.g., UAT) by conducting detailed analysis of delivered versus expected results. Providing second-line support to users for data quality and functional system queries.

• Process Optimisation: Driving change management towards end-users and identifying opportunities for process optimisation and remediation of data quality inconsistencies.

Experience & Knowledge

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accounts reporting, financial control, or consolidation processes/products.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory: Excellent command of MS Office, SQL, and Access.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Business Objects, Cognos. Familiarity with a major General Accounting System (e.g., the original OFS system) is a distinct advantage.

Business Acumen

• Mandatory: Strong background in Management Accounting and Financial Regulatory Reporting, coupled with a deep understanding of workflow processes.

• Preferred: Banking Accounting knowledge (e.g., IFRS) and experience with ALMT (Transfer Pricing).

Education

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent by experience) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.

Language Requirements

• Fluency (written and spoken) in Dutch, French, and English is essential for this role.
