As an event safety worker for the FPS Foreign Affairs, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of events at the Egmont Palace in Brussels. During events, you will receive guests, guide them to the correct rooms, and ensure that everything proceeds according to the established protocol. You will also be the point of contact for practical questions from guests at the events.

The events do not take place throughout the entire year. The busiest periods are in May-June and September-October-November. During these periods, you will need to be available very regularly. In other periods, events may vary. You may need to be available once or twice a week, while in other weeks, there will not be any events planned.

The events often take place early in the morning or late in the evening. You must also be open to this.

- Maintaining oversight.
- Acting proactively.
qualification
- You must hold a secondary education diploma with equivalence in Belgium. Without this diploma, you are not eligible.
- You have a good knowledge of English and French; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You are willing to undergo a security screening before starting work. This screening will take approximately 4 weeks.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You are proactive, see what needs to be done, and can follow procedures meticulously.
