Dishwashing and Cleaning:

• Operating and maintaining industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Thoroughly washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and glassware, both by machine and by hand, to the highest standards.
• Sorting and neatly stacking clean items in their designated storage areas.

Kitchen Hygiene and Maintenance:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, walls, and storage.
• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment such as ovens, fridges, fryers, and cooking stations.
• Assisting with proper waste disposal and recycling.
• Regularly emptying and cleaning bins.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all health, hygiene (HACCP), and safety regulations.

Support and Assistance:

• Aiding the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables) when needed.
• Receiving and properly storing kitchen supplies deliveries.
• Supporting colleagues with various tasks to ensure seamless workflow, especially during peak service hours.
• Promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions or breakages to supervisors.

• The physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• An ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• A detail-oriented approach to cleaning and sanitizing.
• Knowledge of the proper use of dishwashing equipment and cleaning products.
• An understanding of basic food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A reliable and punctual nature with a strong work ethic.
• Prior experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred.
• Language proficiency is less critical, but basic English language skills are a plus; knowledge of Dutch or French is also beneficial.
• Food safety certification is a plus.
