You will own the Raw Material area for Eastern Europe and the revamp/ upgrade for Mechelen plant For this equipment you will lead the work with the identified equipment manufacturer through design, making sure equipment is delivered on time, tested at the vendor, installed and started up. You love to do the follow up of the design and construction phase of the equipment at the vendor. You can organise the needed design reviews with operations to make sure all relevant input is worked in the design. You will assist the project manager in managing cost and time schedule for the work packages. You prepare and steer the shop acceptance testing of the equipment. Inspection of the installation of the equipment before start-up is one of your tasks You do the follow up on the start up for the area following the start-up management system In cooperation with other operational people (start-up team), you make sure all the plant systems (maintenance, spare parts, etc) are worked for the new installation. You manage the vendor to solve issues that come out of the commissioning / start up You will work with the projects electrical / software engineers if there is any electrical scope involved Owning the punch list of your projects and make sure the problems get solved.
You have experience with liquid and/or dry RM projects and managing larger scope and multiple vendors. You have the knowledge of equipment involved in this scope of work (silo’s, tanks, powder distribution, sifting, dozing systems, pumps, piping…). Knowledge of engineering systems (writing specifications, leading design reviews, vendor acceptance tests, CQV, etc.) is a big plus. - Most of the communication will happen in English Traveling is part of the job and depends on the project phase (average 50% travel)
