job description

The Global Performance Manager ensures the consistency of the planning for the execution of the projects/bids/programs.

POSITION OVERVIEW

•He/She manages the Project Planning Managers team (PrPMs);
•He/She manages the team building the site workload (and capacity analysis);
•He/She contributes to realization of projects / bids / programs commitments through allocation of adequate team profile, size, and methods & tools within his/her métier department.

The Global Performance Manager reports directly to the Global Performance Director. He/She collaborates with the Department Heads, Management Committee, Project Managers/Sub-system Managers, Project Teams, Industrial Teams, Human Resources, Sourcing and the Headquarter.


RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop a planning culture based on the site strategy and roadmap;
•Coach planning resources and continuously develop their technical and methodological skills;
•Allocate planning resources to bids/projects/programs and ensure that the optimal utilization ratio of resources is reached within his/her team;
•Ensure proper training and people development, in cooperation with HR and People Review Cycle, as per approved productivity targets;
•Deploy and implement planning process, methods and tools and ensure that tools match the planning strategy of the organization.
•Contribute also to process, methods & tools improvement through REX (Return on Experience):

Educational Degree:
Engineering or Technical degree (Bac + 4 or Bac + 5) or equivalent experience.


Technical Competencies:
•At least 5 years’ experience within an industrial organization;
•Relevant knowledge or experience in project management (or project core team) is required;
•Relevant knowledge in operational or hierarchical management;
•Knowledge of IT tools is an asset (PMS, Primavera);
•Knowledge of MS office (incl. MS Project is an asset);
•Fluent in English and French; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
