At imec’s Health department, cutting-edge nanoelectronics and digital technologies are being developed for medical applications. Within the Neuropixels program, the team designs and produces advanced neural probes using silicon chip technology to unlock the brain’s secrets. These innovations pave the way for better understanding of brain function and the development of diagnostics and prosthetics for neurological diseases.
The new team member will play a vital role in quality control (optical inspection of delicate ASICs before and after packaging) and logistics (handling shipments of wafers and packaged devices). This hands-on role is essential for keeping the production process efficient and reliable.
