contract manager

Your main mission is to ensure the management of suppliers and contracts for core electrical equipment in line with the Group's objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supplier Relationship Management: Managing supplier relationships for your equipment categories (e.g., High Voltage, Low Voltage, or Linear Assets) through regular status meetings and site/factory visits.

• Key Account Management: Acting as Key Account Manager for the suppliers in your category and for internal stakeholders (Program Managers, Project Leaders, Experts, etc.).

• Contract Management: Handling Contract administration & contract change management.

• Risk & Performance Management: Performing Contract Risk management (including risk assessment and implementing mitigation measures) and Contract Performance management.

• Negotiation and Claims: Leading negotiations and reaching reasonable agreements in case of unforeseen situations or contract claims

• Project Execution: Ensuring the proper execution of projects in conformity with the contract.

• Continuous Improvement: Guaranteeing the continuous improvement process via return of experience to create opportunities and win-win situations.

• Support & Reporting: Providing support to internal stakeholders on supplier-related topics, along with documentation/archiving and reporting

• Education/Experience: Master’s degree in a technical-commercial field with a genuine interest in technical aspects and projects, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.

• Seniority & Experience: Medium seniority with a minimum of 5 years of experience in stakeholders management, contract management, category management, account management, strategic procurement, or procurement.

• Sector Experience: Experience within the industry/energy sector.

• Language Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (min B2) as it is the team's primary communication language.

  • Excellent level of either French or Dutch. Good knowledge of the other language is also required.

• Soft Skills: You must be a fluent and assertive (not aggressive) communicator. You should be solution-driven, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to take initiatives and responsibilities. You must be able to defend the company's interest and your own point of view.

• Travel: Readiness to travel (a few times a year) to suppliers' factories (in Europe) or to work sites (Substations).

• Knowledge of SAP.

• Knowledge of the energy market.
