• Develop and apply advanced analytical methodologies for the separation, analysis, and in-depth characterization of protein biopharmaceuticals.
• Lead and manage complex, scientifically challenging projects for biotech and pharma partners, keeping them updated on project progress and strategic next steps.
• Design experimental plans, process and interpret complex data, and synthesize findings into high-quality technical reports.
• Implement, evaluate, and innovate novel analytical technologies within the organization.
• Coach, mentor, and support team members to ensure top-tier execution and reporting standards.
• Collaborate closely with team leads, cross-functional colleagues, and commercial teams to align on strategic decisions and project execution.

• Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: minimum of 3 years of experience for a Scientist level; minimum of 8 years for a Senior Scientist level.
• Technical expertise:
• Proven HPLC and CE method development skills for mAbs, bispecifics, ADCs, fusion proteins, and enzymes.
• Deep practical knowledge of separation modes (AEX, CEX, HIC, HILIC, RPLC, SEC, cIEF, CE-SDS) and sample prep (labeling, digestion, clean-up).
• Hands-on experience with detection techniques (UV, FLD, MALS) and data processing software; knowledge of protein mass spectrometry, DOE, or AQbD is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of post-translational modifications (deamidation, isomerization, oxidation).
• Key attributes: high attention to quality, critical mindset, strong ownership, excellent multitasking skills, and a strong drive for technological innovation.
• Languages & soft skills: fluent in English (written and oral) with strong communication, customer-facing, and coaching abilities.
