      • key responsibilities

        In your role as Order Management Assistant, you will be responsible for the entire process from customer order to production planning. You will work in a dynamic environment where speed and accuracy are key.

        Your responsibilities:

        • Order processing: You will accurately enter customer orders into SAP, the Real-Time Product Configurator and other internal IT systems.
        • Validation: You carry out technical checks on product orders and ensure that all information is correctly passed on to the production departments.
        • Agility: You liaise daily with sales teams and production sites to speed up processes and monitor delivery times.
        • Customer Service: You are the point of contact for customers via email and telephone. You proactively keep them informed about the status of their orders.

        You work a flexible schedule (starting between 07:30 and 09:00, finishing between 16:00 and 18:30), which ensures an optimal work-life balance.

      • qualification

        For this administrative role in the Port of Ghent, we are looking for a communicative team player who is available to start immediately.

        • Education: you hold a professional bachelor’s degree.
        • Language skills: you have an excellent command of English. Knowledge of Dutch, German, French, Polish or Turkish is a strong advantage
        • You have an affinity with IT tools. Experience with SAP is a major plus
        • You are available for a temporary role until the end of 2026 and are willing to give your all during this period
        • You are meticulous, a good multi-tasker and able to work well under pressure
