financial analyst inventory & costing

• Standard costing & pricing: Lead and manage the end-to-end standard costing and intercompany pricing process (both actuals and budgeting) for all products sourced and manufactured out of Belgium.
• Month-end closings & variances: Maintain standard costing master data, ensure compliant month-end closings, and deliver in-depth analysis of manufacturing variances.
• New product introductions: Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Planning, Tax, and Trade Compliance to establish the financial frameworks for new product launches and supply flows.
• Financial lifecycle management: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal financial approval and pricing platforms, steering the end-to-end financial lifecycle of products.
• Process optimization & digital transformation: Challenge the status quo by identifying and driving standardization, process improvements, and digital automation tools to enhance cross-functional efficiency.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field (an MBA or Master’s in Finance is strongly preferred), combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or controlling.
• Proven track record in Supply Chain Controlling, Inventory Management, and Cost Accounting within an industrial manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and modern digital collaboration tools; solid hands-on experience with SAP is a distinct advantage.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written); comfortable operating within a matrix organization and virtual, cross-country team environments.
• Autonomous, solution-driven, highly accurate under tight closing deadlines, and capable of seamlessly bridging high-level strategic overviews with granular data analysis.
