        • key responsibilities

          In this critical role during a transition period, you will report directly to the CFO. You are not only responsible for defining controls but, more importantly, for their successful implementation and embedding within the business. While a solid foundation of controls already exists, your task is to maintain the current framework and implement several new business controls.


          Your primary responsibilities:

          • Design & implementation: You possess the knowledge to design high-quality controls that specifically address identified business risks. You ensure these controls are practically executable and oversee their seamless integration into the organization.
          • CAPEX focus: While the environment is Telecom-oriented, the current priority lies within the CAPEX business area.
          • Process optimization: You analyze existing business processes, identify risks and 'control gaps', and propose improvements.
          • Stakeholder coaching: You guide and coach business owners and Product Owners on the correct execution of controls, emphasizing the why and the specific risks being mitigated.
          • Governance & monitoring: You support the rollout of controls related to OPEX monitoring, operational governance, and risk processes.
          • Embedding: You ensure controls are properly documented and executed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) to build a sustainable 'control mindset'.
          • Collaboration: You work closely with the central Control & Compliance department and external audit parties.

        • qualification

          We are looking for a hands-on expert who can flawlessly translate theory into practice in a high-velocity environment.

          • Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Internal Controls, Risk Management, or Compliance Frameworks (e.g., COSO, ICFR, SOX environments). Relevant experience outweighs specific degrees or certifications.
          • Background: A strong track record as a Business Controller, Compliance Consultant, or similar role. Experience within a Big Four firm or the Telecom/Infrastructure sector is a major plus.
          • Implementation power: You have proven experience in actually implementing controls in an active business environment, rather than just documenting them.
          • Tooling & systems: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential. You will work with a mix of internal and external systems; while specific system knowledge is not required upfront, the ability to learn new tools quickly is a must.
          • Stakeholder management: Excellent communication and influencing skills. You can explain complex risks and controls in a pragmatic, business-oriented way to various audiences.
          • Personality: You are a self-starter, independent, and delivery-focused. You can navigate complex matrix structures and remain comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines.
          • Analytical skills: The ability to rapidly understand new organizations, processes, and systems.
