qc lab technician early shift

For this Life Science company situated in Leuven we are looking for a QC Lab technician who can work in a fix early shift

This company is the leading manufacturer of custom oligonucleotides and proprietary technologies for genomics applications

Tasks:

• Perform MQC on raw materials, all mixtures and formulations
• Perform the Analytical HPLC runs, Mass Spectrometry, Analytical Quantifications and QC sampling of oligonucleotides
• Operate HPLCs, Mass Specs, CE and other instruments in the lab that are needed to perform job duties.
• Keep all the reagent bottles, pressurized gas cylinders and manifold liquid systems at levels to achieve successful operation
• Perform calibration, maintenance, decontamination tasks on designated equipment as scheduled or requested.
• Appropriately document all aspects of production
• Fill out all required checklists and perform verification for others when necessary
• Follow all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs
• Perform all necessary decontamination procedures
• Maintain a constant awareness for product defects, which may occur from the improper performance of specific tasks
• Interpret QC results and recognize when failures warrant further investigation
• Receive additional cross training as specified by management
• Report any problems to management
• Perform other duties as specified by management

Assist in Quality Assurance tasks:

o Notify Management of document inconsistencies or mistakes

o Identify instrument problems encountered and submit work orders when necessary
