As part of a new target operating model in support of the business strategy, we are executing several large IT programs.

The main task of our Project Manager is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple IT projects within scope, quality, time and cost (manday) constraints. This will require a high level of dynamic change management.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
-Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks
-Provide leadership and motivation to project team members.
-Align with stakeholders in IT & business management.
-Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases.
-Review and analyze project proposals/ plans and monitor project activities
-Implement project communication plan
-Conduct risk assessments and mitigations
-Assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority.
-Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel.
-Review status reports prepared by project personnel, and modify schedules or plans as required.
-Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
-Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in PPM.
-As a Steering Committee member, present information to the Steering Committee.

Our ideal Project Manager meets the following job requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field
-2 or more years successfully managing complex projects with substantial business transformation focus
-A first experience in IT, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
-Proven experience in leadership
-Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills
-Ability to support a tactical resource plan by mapping future demand
-Combine strong methodology and technical background with common sense and business acumen
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
-Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
-Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools with solid track record of practical application (Clarizen).
Knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major defined PM approaches (PRINCE 2) is always a plus
-Effective influencing and negotiating skills
-Team-player
-Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus
