A global animal health company is looking for a financial analyst for the Benelux, Africa and Middle East region. You will be part of the FP&A department.

The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Director of BenAfME and provides support in financial analysis/reporting for the region, cluster consolidation, working with the markets to ensure compliance for SoX / Internal Audits and specific cluster-wide projects.
The Analyst will also provide financial support to the Benelux markets in facilitating the FP&A process with the Finance Center of Excellence.

- Monitor and validate of the month-end (quarter-end) close process through commercial provisions, account reconciliations; OPEX, Trial Balance review, and B/S and P&L flux analysis
- Interact with Shared Service Centre to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and statements for the cluster.
- Assist in internal / external audits of Belgium, Netherlands affiliates
- Assist the Benelux operations team and COE in the review of submission and reports of the core corporate financial requirements (actual, forecast, operating plan)
- Coordinate with the CoE to ensure appropriate and standard measurement tools are in place to assure adherence to financial targets
- Provide operational and analytical support for the BenAfME cluster in consolidation activities
- Participate in BenAfME cluster / International projects with operational support and follow-up
- Facilitate financial activities to the International markets relating to the Belgium Principal operations through coordination with the International FP&A team and/or Finance Directors across International

jouw aanbod

- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA in Finance is a plus

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role
- Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase (Anaplan is an asset) and SAP is a must

- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS applications
- Strong analytical skills and able to acquire business acumen
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize deadlines
- Result oriented; key focus on quality deliverables and accuracy and able to work independently in a proactive manner and work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Able to function in a complex and fast-changing environment with flexibility
