description de la fonction
At Janssen research & development various in-vitro (e.g. stem cell assay, isolated tissue, in-vitro tox) and in-vivo (small and large animals tox and safety) non-clinical experimental models are important for discovery de-risking and early development project support. We have wealth of (historical) knowledge and expertise in developing and characterizing these experimental models. Currently there are paper SOP available which describe the procedure how to set up, perform and analyze these experiments. When a new person would like to learn these experimental techniques, they must read paper SOP to learn and get some hands-on training from an experienced person. However, the whole process could be made much more efficient. Within this project we would like to develop a platform where all in-vitro and in-vivo models could be recorded as an interactive video SOP, which would help new researchers to learn these scientific models in a more practical and time efficient manner. This approach would also preserve the wealth of knowledge and expertise available in Non-Clinical Safety organization.
Responsibilities and duties - Learn Line-setup app web platform and procedure to create a video SOP - Create a video SOP utilizing this platform called Line-setup app. - Create a web-based platform which can be accessed using an app on a mobile tablet device. - Develop and validate "Line Set Up" platform to capture and preserve various experimental models as interactive video SOP's which could be used for training purposes and to preserve the knowledge for future generations of staff.
Qualifications - Master's degree student with science/biotech/engineering/computer science background or related field. - Some basic knowledge of video capturing/editing would be advantageous. - Competent in written and oral presentation skills.
Practical details - Location: Beerse, Belgium - Duration: 6 months - Timeframe: April 2019 / September 2019 - Others: Possible to have part-time work (few days in a week)
Requirement The candidate must be a registered student for the entire course of the internship. Unfortunately, graduates that are currently not enrolled in a study program are not eligible for this internship.
If you are interested in applying for this challenging internship, please send an e-mail to RA-RNDBE-InternBelg@ITS.JNJ.com, including your resume and a short motivation.
