As Senior IT Support engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, coordination and supervision of hardware, software and telecommunication equipment on site. By doing this you ensure qualitative and timely delivery of this service to the different users in the organization. He/she shall maintain IT operating services under SLA, managing the IT assets on site and align (local) requirements to standard tools and policies defined by IT. He/she shall have a direct reporting line to corporate IT.

Key area’s of responsibilities :

Managing all hardware & software for the whole site (updates, lease expiration, replacement, maintenance, inventories, ...)
First line IT support, guarantee the operation of devices and implement the IT Policies of
Install and maintain the IT Corporative tools (Antivirus, Software Control, etc.) on the computers
Define schedules of backup’s to be taken and support IT vendor backup when it´s needed
Maintain & document IT and telecom network (switches, routers, hubs, IP phones, …
Supervision of the external service providers, perform technical coordination with the supplier to solve technical problems and ensure the installation of products and services
First point of contact for corporate IT for our site

vos atouts

- Bachelor or MSc in ICT, NMCT, Informatics, Computer Sciences with a passion for organizing
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar function
- You are able to work independently and have good verbal & written communication skills
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routers, switches and firewalls

Experience with/in:
setup & maintenance of Windows and Linux on real & virtual machines
setup & configuration of commonly used applications, such as Active Directory, antivirus, anti-spam, and back-up systems
expansion & migration of IT systems
Appreciated extra’s:
Experience with setting up & maintaining databases (MySQL, SQL, Oracle)
Having IT certifications (eg. Microsoft/Cisco)
Desirable Spanish speaking & writing skills
